I'm slowly pulling together this website so I can share my new comic project. With my primary webcomic Fruitful Confusion, much of the process of its creation has already been done and I often don't get a chance to share what's going on behind the scenes - especially since where its at in process has too many unavoidable spoilers! So I'm taking the opportunity with this new project to really get into sharing a lot of the work that goes on behind the scenes.

Now, where to begin? The characters are already done and fleshed out, though I'm still trying to get used to drawing them and their designs aren't 100% finalized yet (especially Amira, who I keep drawing different every time haha). The story has been outlined into the five chapters it is to be, I have an assortment of bits of scenes completed, and the first chapter is begun. There's about a scene or two left to write of the first chapter before it gets revised, split up into pages, reworked and simplified. If I get a chance to scan my notes and initial sketches, you'd see all the messy work it takes just to even get to this point haha!

This story is not very similar to my other comic, especially in its tone/mood. So if you like FC for its comedy, you might not necessarily like this comic, and if you like the seriousness of this one you might not like my other one. There will still be a bit of humor to be sure at moments, simply because I can't get myself away from it, but overall its mostly a much darker story.

There really isn't too much to say at this point...Still a lot of process to do, basically, and I want to get people involved with it! Pick my brain, ask me questions, make requests on what I should draw or share next, etc. I want to share some bits of the script - nothing TOO revealing though - and at the moment I'm expecting much of the process sharing might be done through my tumblr. I will try to post things here too, of course, but they will likely pop up more frequently there.
