Commissions

NOTE: This page is for information about private, non-commercial commissions ONLY. If wanting work done for commercial use, please contact me directly with your request so we can work out a contract for the exchange.

What are commissions? Why do I do them?
Commissions are when you ask someone to draw you something, and then you pay them to do it.

As for why, that's easy - I love drawing, and I need to somehow make a living haha!
What I will and will not draw
I will draw your own characters.

I will draw fanart of your favorite characters from a comic or television show.
(For above, it may be helpful for me if you include images of the characters because I may be unfamiliar with them and need a reference.)

I will draw my own characters for you and for payment IF and ONLY IF they are sketches. Any colored work of my characters I will not do. However, you can still request or suggest a certain image, I might draw it sometime down the road.

I will not anything of sexual content.
Payment/Process
Payments are done through [PayPal]. After I agree to draw whatever it is you want and the price is agreed on, I would like half of the cost upfront. (So I can try to evade anyone trying to make me work for nothing...)

After doing some thumbnails, I'll send you some rough sketches of compositions I liked. You can either pick one you like, or give me input to improve it closer to what you want. Once a rough sketch has been approved, I'll start working on  I'll send you a smaller watermarked version to prove completion, then you pay the other half before I send you the finished product.

Sketches are the exception to this process. Sketches you only need to approve a thumbnail.

Cost
Please see my [cost calculator] for an estimate of the cost. Note that it may not be exactly what I ask for (though it should be close)! If the image you request is very complex, I may ask for a bit more for the added time it will take to finish.
Requesting
To make a request, just e-mail me at lkajpust (AT) gmail (DOT) com. Please be sure to put something along the lines of "Commission Request" as the subject. In the message please be as specific as possible! Tell me what style (anime, or more realistic), how many characters, what you want going on in the image, image size, etc. The more you tell me, the more helpful it will be for me to try and create an image you like.
